The acute disease society is facing is corruption KALA BAZAAR. Its roots have gained so much strength that for a man to breathe freely is just out of question. At every step of progress, people have to face and encounter this dreadful disease. The only way to eradicate this disease is UNITY.

The story of Kala Bazaar revolves around two friends Kimtilal and Girdharilal. Both of them work as clerks in the same government office and draw the same salary. Girdharilal was fulfilling his personal and family needs from his salary. But Kimtilal an overambitious man was infected by the corruption disease. He was working for people like Ranbir Gupta, Sampat Seth and Jaggan. They were paying Kimtilal the price for passing their building plans and sanctioning various licences. Thus there was a VAST difference in living status between Kimtilal and Girdharilal.

Kimtilal's son Kamal and Girdharilal's son Vijay were the best of friends. Both apply for the same I.P.S. job. Kamal's application is accepted whilst Vijay's is rejected inspite of the fact that Vijay had secured more marks than Kamal. Vijay moves from office to office in search of a job, but to no avail. He had to face the effects of the dreadful disease.

One day out of frustration Vijay comes back home drunk. His mother Shanti cannot see this state of her son and she accuses Girdharilal for bringing about this state. Kimtilal enters and adds fuel to Girdharilal's wounds. This argument reaches to that peak that Girdharilal starts to blurt out Kimtilal's doings in the office.

Kimtilal tells Superintendent Thakur of the threat Girdharilal could pose for them and suggests a plan to get rid of Girdharilal. He is framed and caught red-handed for accepting bribe. Girdharilal is unable to face this blot on his clean image and commits suicide.

The death of Girdharilal shakes up Vijay. He vows to destroy the person who is responsible for his father's untimely death thus leading to a MAJOR change in Vijay's life. He unites a group of jobless but educated boys and begins his fight against corruption-Kamal too join hands with Vijay.

Were both Kamal and Vijay successful in their fight against corruption. Was Vijay able to wash off the blot on his father? Were they able to spread their message of unity throughout the country?

The answers to these questions lie in Kala Bazaar.
